I currently hold the position of the 27th President at the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. My name is Han Oh-dong.

My journey in the United States began in November 1990 when I first arrived in New York with dreams of achieving the American dream. Over the years, I have immersed myself in various aspects of Korean life in the United States.

Driven by a fervent desire to realize the American dream, I dedicated myself tirelessly without taking a single day off. Despite my efforts, however, the dream remained elusive.

In 2010, while residing in Spartanburg, South Carolina, I ventured into entrepreneurship for the first time by establishing a beauty supply business. At that juncture, I felt it was my final opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

For three consecutive years, I labored relentlessly without breaks. Eventually, my efforts bore fruit, leading to the gradual establishment of multiple successful stores. It felt nothing short of miraculous.

While I can't delve into my entire life story here, I want to emphasize that my current pursuit, through the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, is to reignite the American dream. My goal is to transform aspirations into tangible realities, hence my decision to vie for the presidency of this esteemed institution.

The current challenges facing Korean businesses necessitate a focus on nurturing the next generation. I firmly believe that fostering the development of future leaders is paramount to sustaining Korean business prosperity. Henceforth, I pledge to collaborate extensively with upcoming generations, providing mentorship, guidance, and unwavering support.
